In the town where I was born, Lived a man who sailed to sea, And he told us of his life, In the land of submarines. So we sailed up to the sun, Till we found a sea of green, And we lived beneath the waves,
In our yellow submarine.
I don't think. Dude dreams, I receive the inspiration, we laugh, and then I google for the pictures that expess the giggle. Somethin like that.
Years ago I read a book "The 9 faces of Christ" which in some ways inspired my concept of the livng God as presenting 9 faces/roles/personalities with whom we may relate. I don't have em all labeled, but they include mother, father, brother; sister, companion, etc......and dude.
Dude is bursting at the seems to bring God's sense of humor into play, something we were privileged to experience together last weekend. God's Spirit, in my opinion, was every bit as involved in that charades game as he was in so many of our sharing circles.
I think God must cry at times at the frustrations of being stuck in a box. Attempts of man to "contain" God have been both sad and disasterous. I hope Ruah will continue to be a program through which He/She breaks out.
God had fun last weekend as a co-creator of and participant in all we experienced together. It was a beautiful thing.
